Tried a number of different ellipticals at the stores. This one is very solid and smooth. I've only had it two weeks, but so far am very pleased. The construction quality is good, and I'm hoping this lasts longer than others on the market.

This machine is a pretty solid machine with a very smooth ride. The only downside is that it is pretty pricy, however after only a few months of use I can tell it is very sturdy and am very optimistic it will last a long time. It did take an hour for me to put together, but it was fairly easy, I am just not that handy.

I have been using the H140e for about 1 month know, and it is everything I expected. Assembly was 2 hours but the boxes that held the fasteners separated the individual parts in their own pocket within the box with a clearly labeled sheet defining the identification of each parts location within the box. I only had one squeak, I took one of the arms joints apart lubed it again, and it was fine after that.

I just recently purchased the Healthrider club series H140E from Sports Authority, and me and my husband LOVE it! I can't say enough about it. It is a HIGH QUALITY machine. It doesn't need batteries or an outlet. It works off an internal generator as you pedal. Cool! It is very heavy, but that's a good thing means it's not cheap. It was fairly easy to put together. Took my husband like 2 hours. We originally bought a Nordic Track ASR 70what garbage! Lucky for us Sears took it back no problem. It broke after 2 weeks of use. I HIGHLY recommend the Healthrider club series H140E. It's on sale right now at Sports Authority! And just so you know, I researched ellipticals for a long time because buying this one - after my bad experience with the Nordic Track.
great product when all parts work

Love the machine but... First the right leg made a loud clunking noise. Notified the store, told to bring it back and they would exchange. That meant we had to take it apart and load it, which this machine is very heavy. Now we get a whole new unit, haul it in the house and assemble it again and this time the console doesn't work. Called ICON they sent new console and control panel that arrived 2 weeks later and that one is also broke. Called again and used there option that you don't have to stay on hold, they take your number and call you back when you spot comes up. Yeah, never heard from them. Waited another week and finally, light at the end of the tunnel. Once they got it right, the machine is great, love it. Very quiet, smooth, sturdy. It was worth all the trouble.

This has to be one of the best ellipticals I have ever worked out on. For a long time I spent my days working out at the gym, but due to the high cost of my gym I decided to invest in a quality elliptical so I could just stay home. I researched several different machines and decided to go with a commercial type machine built for a home. And this didn't dissappoint. The machine is very solid and sturdy. It actually weighs quite a bit but that is why it is sturdy. The machine and console are beautiful. I would definetely recommend this machine.

This machine is just great. Although it is a little more costly than other home ellipticals it is well worth. It is very solid and sturdy and truly does feel like a club machine. The console is very nice and vibrant - it tells you everything you need.

It took me a month to make my purchase decision. And I am so happy I made this decision. It is heavy and sturdy. My son put it up in 1 hour and 45 mins. to assemble this awesome machine. I was so proud I read the specs, and true enogh I paid more but the quality is goood. I will not be nervous for a visitor to see this big boy.
